Molokini is an uninhabited islet in the 'Alalākeiki Channel between the islands of Maui and Kahoʻolawe. It has a unique crescent shape which is due to a partially submerged volcanic crater. It is one of the favorite spots for scuba divers and snorkelers in the County of Maui. There are many tour operators running daily trips to Molikini. The islet is a little over 20 acres with a diameter of about 1/2 mile. The center of this incredible volcanic atoll is filled with wonderful and colorful sea life.
