  • This is a great little condo in one of the best areas on Maui. Wonderful restaurants near by. The condo was clean and well stocked.

  • We enjoyed our stay very much in this condo. The views were great and being able to sit on the lanai most of the day and watch the whales and waves was amazing.

  • The view is fantastic, The unit was clean, spacious and updated. Enjoyed the pool, walks on the beach, and swimming in the ocean. I would recommend renting this unit at Paki Maui. The unit is located at the main level, making it ideal to walk out directly to the pool and the bbq's. Would definitely rent again.

  • My husband and I enjoyed our 3 week stay at Paki Maui. The unit was clean and eye catching as we entered. The view was fantastic, and we enjoyed trying to catch sight of whales passing by and breaching. The furnishings were comfortable and the most updated appliances were available. We enjoyed the sunsets on the grassy area in the front of the units, and we even saw a couple of large turtles! All the comforts of home were made available to us in the unit. Would definitely recommend (and have) to others.

  • WHAT A VIEW!!!! It was so wonderful to hear the ocean all night and to wake up to the gorgeous ocean views each day. It was breathtaking. Our family of four fit very comfortably. Everything was beautifully decorated from top to bottom. We were so impressed with the modern, brand new kitchen. Fabulous top of the line materials and appliances. I can not wait to go back and will never stay anywhere else. Aloha!

  • Very nice updated one bedroom at Paki Maui. So excited not to have wicker furniture for a change. Very recent upgrades in kitchen with large, rectangular sink. Smaller dishwasher, glass stove top and microwave. Frosted glass cabinets. Full size over/under refrigerator. Bath had been updated and fairly new furniture throughout. All one bedrooms in this building have the bedroom at the back, which has some advantages and disadvantages. Sound of the ocean isn't deafening, which happens in some places. Ventilation could be an issue in hotter times of the year as there is no air conditioning, just fans and ocean breezes, which is great. Lighting could be a bit brighter in bedroom during the day, a bit darker in the night. Because the window in that room is a fully louvered window and you need the louvers cracked at least partly open, the curtain gaps as it is really a roll up shade. If someone walking in the hallway wanted to they could see in quite well, but more of a difficulty is the hallway light direcly above the entrance door. This is bright and unblocked by the shade when the windows are cracked open. This is a minor irritation, but one worth noting. If the unit were mine, I might put some wrap around drapes outside the windows, then the pull up shades inside. Not sure how that would impact air flow, but would increase privacy. Big items to love however are the deck furnishings and the great view. You do some peek-aboo through some gorgeous vegetation in parts of the view, but this enhances rather than detracts. Nice recliner and a table with four heavy chairs that won't be tossed around in the wind, and there can be some. The unit is next to the last on the south side so part of the view is of the condo complex next door, again no big deal. Have multiple whale pictures taken from the deck to show it isn't a big deal. Chase 'N Rainbows was easy to work with, still haven't spoken to a human and I've been home for a week. Means all went well. Received multiple emails, a couple text messages, all very helpful without taking a bunch of time. We'd book with them again and might book the same unit. We've talked about trying a studio next time as the bed has an ocean view and the difference in square footage doesn't appear to be much. The studios feel a bit bigger. Again, great unit, good group with which to work, and the Paki Maui is small enough to not feel like the middle of a city like the big resorts down the street do. It is not the Ritz and doesn't pretend to be. Lots of families and retirees and a good share of Canadians, as this is on the more economical end of the spectrum while still being very nice. Gardens are manicured and the public spaces very clean, with workers visible all the time.
